Quaich in pewter on plinth

Starting at: £37.60

The traditional Scottish Quaich, you can't beat this for symbolism! Originated in the Highlands of Scotland, it is a "Cup o' Friendship" normally filled with a "wee dram" and offered to guests, as you welcome them through the front door. The shallow drinking cup or "cuach" as it's known in Gaelic has two "lugs" or handles, the design hasn't changed much over the centuries, although it used to be made from wood and then later from horn or leather. This one is pewter, has a fixed plinth, which makes it useful for an annual presentation. All sizes are the diameter of the bowl, not including the handles.
